Happy Father's Day Dad

Dad,

I know this particular Father’s Day is especially hard for you. No words can stop the pain of losing your father to heaven. Papa was one of the most amazing people on this earth. I’m so thankful to have part of him living through me every single day. He’ll continue to influence our lives and his memory will live on inside our heart and soul forever. Love you, Papa.

Man, I tell you what Dad, this year sure has tested your strength over and over and over again. Good thing you’re the strongest guy I know! No matter what you’re going through or how hard life gets, you’re ALWAYS there for me. You’re there when I have questions; you’re there when I’m going through hard times; you’re there when I’m overwhelmed and just need a break from everything. It means the world to have someone there I can trust and talk to whenever I need it. I’m so happy that we’re best friends and can have those conversations.

Thank you for all the life lessons and endless support. Thank you for being so much fun. Thank you for teaching me what hard work looks like. Thank you for trying to keep an open mind to this complicated world. Even if we have disagreements, I know you’re at least trying to see things from my point of view, and vice versa. It’s not easy to navigate all the complexities. I’ve learned so much from your work ethic, and I’m eternally grateful to have you as a father.

So, on this father’s day, we remember who paved the way for you to become the MVP father you are. We love you Papa, today and always. Thank you for raising a father that I can celebrate and beat in go-karts today.
