Independent fan reference
Fans kept asking a question no one could answer yet. I built a page that showed what was known, checked its results, and fixed the way I handled reader corrections.
I built and maintain this project. I am withholding its name and address; the results and my ownership are stated directly.
- 35,170Google and Bing search clicks
- 1,891,323search-result appearances, summed across both engines
- 50,690GA4 Organic Search sessions
Complete months: April–September 2026. Search data: Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools. Sessions: Google Analytics 4 Organic Search. These measures differ; growth has no proven cause here.
The reader's question
People wanted a firm answer about a forthcoming installment. No announcement existed. The job was to make the absence of an answer useful: say what was confirmed, what was only a theory, and when I last checked.
The system I built
I gave the question its own page, put the short answer first, linked each confirmed claim to a source, and dated changes. Related pages linked to that answer so readers could reach it from several starting points. I kept spoiler-sensitive detail behind a reader control while giving citable facts a clearly labeled, accessible home.
The publishing workflow has two checks: a claim must stay within what its source says, and a reader correction must reach a tracked queue. When an error is fixed, a build check guards the corrected fact against regression. Those checks grew out of real misses, not a theoretical checklist.
What happened
Across the six complete months shown here, the site earned 35,170 search clicks. In a separate 90-day Google Search Console window, one answer page earned 13,783 of the site's 32,077 Google clicks (43%). That is a page's share of visits, not proof that the page created demand.

What I corrected
I once let an answer sound more certain than its source. I revised the claim and added a check for that wording. Separately, several readers reported the same factual error while their messages went unread; I repaired the correction queue and checked neighboring pages. The lesson changed the system: a visible 'last checked' date is only useful if the facts and the feedback route are actually checked.
What the data does and does not say
The site-wide search and session totals are measured outcomes. The page share describes where clicks landed; it does not estimate how many visits my decision caused. The correction process improved accuracy, but these traffic figures do not measure reader trust.
